Timely removal of difficulties and obstacles for businesses.

In his opening remarks at the Conference, the Head of the Customs Sub-Department of Region IV, Mr. Tran Manh Hung, emphasized: 2026, the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, with the motto "Innovative thinking - Modern management - Accompanying development," the Customs Sub-Department of Region IV will continue to implement comprehensive solutions for reform and modernization, facilitating trade, strengthening the application of information technology, digital transformation, improving risk management efficiency, focusing on supporting and guiding businesses, and has achieved some encouraging results. From the beginning of the year to March 18, 2026, the total import and export turnover in Hung Yen province reached 4.2 billion USD (an increase of 12% compared to the same period in 2025); The number of businesses registered for customs procedures was 2,126 (an increase of 14%); the number of customs declarations was 119,545 (an increase of 12%); and budget revenue was 1,202 billion VND (reaching 18.1% of the assigned target).

However, alongside the achievements, import and export activities and the implementation of tax policies still face some difficulties and obstacles that need to be further discussed and resolved. This requires even closer coordination between the Customs agency and the provincial departments and agencies, and especially the support of the business community. Therefore, the Conference on Dialogue with Import and Export Businesses is an important forum for the Customs agency, along with provincial departments, agencies, and the business community, to frankly and openly exchange views on existing issues in practice.
